What Ghoomar does
Ghoomar turns a scattered list of to-dos and errands into one optimized, no-backtrack driving route. Add what you need to do, where, and Ghoomar works out the best order and route to get it all done — so you can dump your to-dos the night before and just drive the next day.
Getting started
- Sign in with Google, Apple, or your email address.
- Set your home base — the address Ghoomar routes to and from.
- Add a to-do with a place, and Ghoomar will find it for you as you type.
- Allow location access when asked, so Ghoomar can plan and update your route from where you are.
- Open your day's route and drive.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Ghoomar need my location?
To work out the best order for your stops and to show your position on the route. Ghoomar only reads your location while the app is open on screen — it never tracks you in the background.
Does Ghoomar drain my battery or track me in the background?
No. Ghoomar has no background location access and no background tracking of any kind — location is only read while you have the app open.
Is my data private? Where is it stored?
Your to-dos, saved places, and account data are stored on a private database in India and are never sold or used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown of what we collect and why.
How do I edit or delete a to-do or saved place?
Open it from your list and edit or delete it — changes take effect immediately and re-plan your route if needed.
How do I change my home address?
Go to Settings and update your home base at any time.
What's the difference between "Delete Account" and "Reset app" in Settings?
Delete Account permanently erases your to-dos, saved places, home location, and route history from our servers, and deletes your sign-in identity — this cannot be undone. Reset app only clears the app's local cache on your phone and signs you out; your account and data on our servers are untouched. If you want your data gone for good, use Delete Account — details are in our Privacy Policy.
The route or stop order doesn't look right — why?
Routes are computed from live map data and can shift with traffic conditions or if a place's location is slightly off. Try re-planning your day from the app, and if a place's pin is wrong, edit its address.
The app seems out of sync with what I entered
Ghoomar keeps a short-lived local copy of your day for instant loading. Closing and reopening the app forces it to refresh from the server.
I signed in with the wrong Google or Apple account
Sign out from Settings and sign back in with the account you want to use. Each sign-in method creates a separate Ghoomar account unless the email addresses match.
Which regions does Ghoomar work in?
Ghoomar is currently built and tuned for driving routes in India.
