These terms govern your use of the Ghoomar mobile app and this website (ghoomar.tech), operated by Debasish Sahoo, an individual developer based in India ("we," "us," "Ghoomar"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Ghoomar.

1. The service

Ghoomar is a mobile app that lets you enter to-dos and errands and computes an optimized driving route between them and your home base, using Google's mapping services. It's available on iOS and Android only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 4 years old to use Ghoomar. If local law in your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without parental consent, you must meet that age, or have a parent or guardian's consent.

3. Your account

• You sign in with Google, Apple, or an email one-time code, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk).
• You're responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure.
• Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared or transferred.
• Provide accurate information — your email address is how we'll reach you about your account.

4. License to use the app

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Ghoomar on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and to Apple's and Google's own usage rules for apps distributed through their stores. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where the law gives you the right to do so despite this restriction.
• Copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the app or the routes/data it produces.
• Use automated tools to scrape, query, or interact with our servers outside the app itself.
• Use Ghoomar for any unlawful purpose, or to enter content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the app or the servers and networks behind it.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

7. Your content

You own the to-dos, place names, addresses, and other content you add to Ghoomar. By adding it, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you solely to operate the app (for example, sending your to-do locations to Google's Routes API to compute your route). You're responsible for what you enter — don't add someone else's personal data without their permission.

8. Third-party services

Ghoomar relies on Google's Maps, Places, Geocoding, and Routes services and Clerk's authentication service, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We're not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of these third-party services. See our Privacy Policy for what we share with them.

9. Intellectual property

The Ghoomar name, logo, app, and all content we provide (excluding your own content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these terms gives you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our written permission.

10. Termination

You may stop using Ghoomar and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete Account in the app). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or if we discontinue the app, with notice where reasonably possible.

11. Disclaimers

Ghoomar is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that route, distance, or place information will always be accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of Ghoomar. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose (currently zero, as Ghoomar has no paid features).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these terms.

14. Apple and Google app store terms

If you downloaded Ghoomar from the Apple App Store, you and Ghoomar acknowledge that:

• This agreement is between you and Ghoomar only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law; any warranty claim is ours alone, as described above.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims you have relating to the app.
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo, and are not on any US government restricted-party list.

If you downloaded Ghoomar from Google Play, your use is also subject to Google Play's own terms of service.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at admin@ghoomar.tech so we can try to resolve it informally.

16. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Ghoomar.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
